I'd been a fan of 'The Thing' film for many years, then I finally read Mr King's book about creative writing in 2011 and learned that he'd also written 'Misery' and 'The Green Mile', two more of my favourite films. I can't thank Mr King enough for sharing some of his writing and especially, editing tips. I was very sorry to hear about him being struck by a van and hopes he makes a full recovery - and perhaps goes on to turn that awful accident into another story! Sorry for suggesting that Mr King, but I'm sure you've got a good sense of humour - and had probably thought of it yourself?
