IMAGINE - A service station that can provide electricity, hydrogen and refuel self driving vehicles, especially trucks, where there are no humans around to make things happen. We now have the Automated and Electric Vehicle Act 2018, in theory supporting the latest automotive tech: robotaxis and robotrucks.
The first ever electric Bluebird featured in Autocar & Motor 1993. This car was unique in having a built in energy cartridge refuelling system, suitable for lithium and hydrogen batteries. The concept was some 30 years ahead of its time, for politicians and policy makers who were swayed by the spin-doctors of motor makers unwilling to tackle climate change, in favour of milking investments in their internal combustion engines.
